ABOUT THE FUND

The "Charitable Foundation for the Restoration and Development of the State Tax University" is a non-profit organization. It operates under the Law of Ukraine "On Charitable Activities and Charitable Organizations," the Civil Code of Ukraine, international treaties of Ukraine, and other regulatory acts. The main goal of the Fund is charitable activity — voluntary personal and/or material assistance. The Fund does not aim to make a profit.

Our fund was established to ensure that Ukrainian youth can continue receiving quality education, even during wartime. An educated nation is the future of the country. We do everything possible to ensure that this future is smart, educated, cultured, creative, and determined.

STU Restoration

STU Restoration

We believe education is one of the key aspects of the country's development. The Fund’s primary activity is charitable support for the restoration and development of the State Tax University, which was damaged due to armed aggression by the Russian Federation.

International Partnership

We aim to unite the efforts of concerned people from around the world: volunteers, NGOs, academic and international institutions to support and rebuild our educational institution.

WAR CONSEQUENCES

Active combat operations left a mark on the university's infrastructure. The following were destroyed or damaged:

In total — partially or completely about 50% of the university's infrastructure was destroyed.

GOAL AND AREAS OF ACTIVITY

The Central Educational and Administrative Building, located at 31 Universytetska St., Irpin, is the top priority for restoration.

Funds collected initially will be directed specifically toward restoring the Central Building.
Following the full-scale invasion, due to shelling and fire, the building suffered severe destruction.
 The part of the building that was completely destroyed included:
  • Rector's office, accounting department, HR department
  • Assembly hall, meeting room, international office
  • College, postgraduate department, research institutes
  • 6 educational laboratories
  • Student government hub
  • Project office and document management department
  • Research Institute of Financial Policy premises

NEXT STEP: SPORTS COMPLEX RESTORATION

If the full amount is collected for the Central Building, the next project will be restoring the sports complex. Sports are a crucial component of the physical and psychological development of young students.

In March 2022, all STU sports complex facilities were severely damaged. Its restoration will allow the creation of one of the largest sports and wellness complexes in the Kyiv region in the Hero City of Irpin.

In March 2022, war reached the State Tax University. The main building — the heart of our institution, which has trained over 80,000 professionals over the years — was almost completely destroyed.
The university team is doing everything possible to rebuild. But resources are limited. We appeal to everyone who can help — even a small contribution matters.
